MANHOLE COVERS

Surface Flow Control is a distributor of Norwood Foundry F-39 manhole frames, grates and covers. 

The F-39 is the most commonly used frame for drainage and manhole applications.

• Covers are flat steel with four 26 mm diameter vent holes inserted.

• The grate features an inlet area of 954cm2

SEDIMENT LOGS

Sediment Logs are versatile excelsior logs comprised of and comprise of an outside containments fabric that is filled with unique Curlex fibres.

The logs are porous, slowing velocity and filtering sediment as it passes through the logs diameter. The logs are extremely flexible and contour to the terrain to maintain intimate contact with the sub grade.

In addition they are light lightweight, require no trenching, no weed seeds, no disposal hassles, are re-usable and hold their shape.

Typical Applications:

• Ditch bottoms, swales and waterways

• Over bare soils and/or temporary & turf reinforcement blankets

• Drop structures and let down structures

• 360 degree protection around catch basins and drop inlet structures

• Curb and drainage outlets

• Use in place of bales, silt fence and rock checks

SLUICE GATE

Sluice gates high-quality, economic gates used for a variety of low head water flow applications. The gate consists of a flat-back, cast iron seat, slide and crossbar, which is attached to a yoke.

The yoke supports the lift system, forming a self-contained unit. Its flat back configuration makes it suitable for mounting to pipes, thimbles and concrete headwalls and manholes.
