RIG MATS

Surface Flow Control manufactures rig mats.

Rig mats are an environmentally friendly, portable platform used in construction and other resource based activities including drilling rigs, Camps, tanks and helipads. 

They may also be used as a structural roadway to provide passage over unstable ground, pipelines and more.

As simple as mats are, most have designs flaws that over the years had not changed. What sets us our HD mats apart?

• End piece with lift hooks built as components for superior strength

• All welding done in a flat position; no upside down or down hand welds. We have added a 3/8 x 6 inch flat bar boxed in end section ensuring ends cannot flip up � reducing safety issues and vehicle tire damage.

• Lift hooks built in a flush mount design. Recessed hooks become useless in frozen mud; our flush mount hooks can be easily bounced up with a quick hammer hit.

 

3 Ply Wooden Mats

Surface Flow Control is a supplier of 3 ply wooden mats. The Mats feature the ULTI-MATT FASTENING SYSTEM enabling the mat to be fastened together without losing structural strength from countersinking the flange nuts. This makes the product superior in design, performance and durability.
Mat features:

• 3 plies rough sawn Doug Fir
• 3 finger interlocking system
• 5 �" thick
• 8' x 14'
• Optional oak edges (HYBRID)

GRATED WALKWAYS

Surface Flow Control fabricates grated safety walkways. The walkways are ideal for construction sites where snow, ice or mud may cause slippery and unsafe walking conditions.

Walkway Features:

• 6” x 2” hollow steel tube frame
• 1-1/4” serrated grate welding to frame
• Lifting D ring hooks
• Boxed and grinded ends
• Forklift lifting cut outs (optional)
• Industrial black painting (optional)
